MY ART
MY ART 01
Some may find deep meaning in my paintings, while others may see just a beautiful image. But in each one, I’ve embedded a piece of my soul and countless hours of work.
Sinkevich Iryna Sinkevich Iryna
My name is Iryna Sinkevich. I was born in Belarus on July 31, 1998, and many people call me the brightest representative of Leos. From an early age, I was immersed in the world of art and creativity, though my path to painting was not straightforward.

My childhood was filled with various pursuits: I began speaking at one year old, singing songs at two, and playing the piano at six. In early childhood, I developed vitiligo, and I began to notice that I looked different from other children. To avoid becoming an outcast, I realized I had to become interesting. I understood that the outer shell loses its significance if the vessel contains something valuable. Thus, I began to study the language of art.

I performed in theater, embroidered, danced, wrote poems and songs, and was fascinated by philosophy and, surprisingly, mathematics. I always loved learning new things. I graduated from theater and music schools, yet painting didn't play any role in my life back then because I didn't have time for it and didn't think it was a field where I could achieve anything. School art classes were frustrating because I never had enough time to complete my ideas, often resulting in low grades.

At 18, I moved to Greece, learned Greek within a year, and enrolled in the Greek University of Informatics and Telecommunications, hoping to find my calling in this field. However, after a few years, I realized that programming wasn't for me. I wanted to express my inner inspiration and not be limited by a monitor—I wanted to feel art with my hands.

During the quarantine, I had more free time and decided to try painting. My first works received positive feedback, and people asked why I didn't pursue it professionally. Smiling at the time, I had no idea that a year later I would realize I wanted to dedicate my life to painting.

As a self-taught artist, I honed my skills and created my first series of paintings, "The Zoo of Humanity," where I reflect human essence through the images of animals. This series took me two years to complete, and participating in private exhibitions and receiving positive reviews from critics convinced me that in my childhood, I couldn't finish paintings because my ideas required a lot of time. Now, each of my paintings takes months to create.

In 2024, I began working on my second series, "The Legendary." This series showcases paintings in the style of realism and hyperrealism, combined with vibrant pop art elements, continuing my journey in the art world.

This is just the beginning of my artistic path, and I am glad to share it with you in this sunny country.
